STRIDE operates two COVID-19 Public Testing locations. Testing begins at 8:00 a.m. and we encourage you to arrive early. We also offer other Community Testing events at partner agencies. COVID-19 Public Swab Testing is available to the following individuals: Any individual who has COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days Any individual who is employed as a health care worker, nursing home worker, or first responder (with an employee ID/badge) COVID-19 Antibody Testing is also available to: Any individual who has had at least 14 days since the onset of symptoms or who has never had symptoms STRIDE does NOT offer self-administered tests at any health center location. W hether a person is on Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance or has no health insurance at all, cost is not a barrier to testing in Colorado. Thanks to executive action taken by the Governor’s Office, Colorado-regulated insurance plans are prohibited from charging copays for testing, and Medicaid patients can also get tested without cost.
